February 7 Is National Black HIV/AIDS Day

African Americans account for more AIDS diagnoses, people living with AIDS, and HIV-related deaths than any other racial or ethnic group in the United States. To mark today as National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation has released an updated fact sheet (2 pages, PDF) that provides current data about HIV/AIDS in the African American community and highlights the epidemic's impact over time on African Americans.
