Foundation Grants for Preservation in Libraries, Archives, and Museums

To support the preservation community in its efforts to save millions of at-risk American historical artifacts for future generations, the Foundation Center and the Library of Congress have published a new grant guide. Foundation Grants for Preservation in Libraries, Archives, and Museums (118 pages, PDF) contains information about grants awarded by U.S. foundations from 2003 through 2007 for preservation and conservation projects. The guide also includes a statistical analysis of grant funding for preservation/conservation projects, state-by-state descriptions of such projects, and a list of foundations that have supported preservation/conservation activities.
