One Day's Pay

One Day's Pay

One Day's Pay seeks to honor the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks by establishing the anniversary of the attacks as a national day of voluntary service, charity, and compassion. Working in partnership with the Coalition of 9/11 Families, the Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network, Youth Service America, Citizen Corps, and other leading volunteer groups, One Day's Pay encourages individuals, employers, and other groups and associations to permanently set aside time each September 11 for volunteer service or other giving activities in support of worthy causes. Visitors to the Web site can register a pledge to serve and send information about the initiative to friends and colleagues.
