September 11 Memorial Webcast Series

The National September 11 Memorial and Museum, which has received major funding from the Starr, JPMorgan Chase, and Verizon foundations, releases monthly Webcasts featuring interviews related to the global aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Recent installments of the "Exploring 9/11: The World Before and After" series have featured Princeton University professor Bernard Haykel discussing al-Qaeda in the context of various Islamic movements and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Lawrence Wright discussing the emergence of al-Qaeda in the lead-up to September 11. All interviews in the series are conducted by Legacy Project founder Clifford Chanin, senior program advisor for the memorial.
