The Growth of Racial, Ethnic, and Tribal Philanthropy

A new report from the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers examines the growth of organized giving by communities of color and finds that they have generated millions of dollars for local needs such as health care and education. The report, Racial, Ethnic and Tribal Philanthropy: A Scan of the Landscape (24 pages, PDF), also suggests that as the American population has become more diverse, so too has American philanthropy.
