World Journalism Education Census

World Journalism Education Census

The World Journalism Education Council has launched an online directory of university-based journalism programs around the world. Funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and administered by the Institute for Research and Training at the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication, the World Journalism Education Census offers contact information and URLs for more than 2,300 journalism programs in dozens of countries, including 691 programs in North America, 645 in Asia, 530 in Europe, 214 in Africa, 205 in South America, and 53 in Oceania. The tool is designed to help journalism educators find institutional partners and further their programs' research aims.
